Position

MISSION STATEMENT

  • To craft the most exceptional experiences and stories for the Moet Hennessy portfolio of Maisons delivered across traditional PR, events, digital, social media and influencer strategy ensuring our brands sit at the heart of relevant culture.
  • Develop and strengthen the communications plans for Moet & Chandon, Hennessy VS & XO, Glenmorangie, Ruinart and Ardbeg.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

STRATEGY

  • Reporting into the Head of Communications and Culture, strategically implement the communications plan across key projects for Moet & Chandon, Hennessy, Glenmorangie, Ruinart and Ardbeg
  • It is your role to connect our Maisons to the most influential people and create a joyful want to be part of our world

COMMUNICATION PR / EVENTS / INFLUENCE

  • Work in tandem with relevant Brand Teams to develop and implement annual communications plan and budget for sign off for Marketing Director
  • In line with Maison DNA/objectives demonstrate a creative vision to deliver stories, events and impact for brands with desired consumer
  • Develop, recommend and implement new ideas to continuously grow PR coverage in line with brand values
  • Demonstrate a clear opinion on influencer strategy and how to apply to MH Maisons in the UK
  • Demonstrate an excellent network of media, industry and influential contacts
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of culture and trends and how to connect brands relevantly
  • Manage external communications agencies with convictions and authority as a key stakeholder for external/internal management - including Trade and Specialist Wines & Spirits agencies
  • Manage Maison stakeholders conveying the communications plan for each brand in UK effectively
  • Review and evaluate PR delivery and performance
  • Excellent co-ordination and event management skills to deliver press trips, tastings and wider brand events
  • Support events coordination across all brands with brand teams and external agencies

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Comms on corporate communications and alcohol governing bodies
  • Manage the GQ x MHUK portfolio deal to ensure all brands are represented within GQ Food & Drink contract agreement.
  • Support the trade media strategy with Head of Comms & Culture and make recommendation to Brand Teams

Profile

DUCATION :             

  • Degree level

LANGUAGES :           

  • English fluent

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND KNOW HOW:

  • Five years communications & PR experience minimum - ideally in luxury/culture/ comms however, luxury experience is not required
  • Professionally connected with strong ‘black book'
  • Media savvy - demonstrate a clear understanding of the rapidly changing media and digital environment
  • Fully proficient in all aspects of communications and PR
  • Great communicator and motivator to achieve collaborative success
