The position is based in Bagno a Ripoli (Firenze). Within the Product Development Leather goods team, the candidate will follow the research & product development projects of FJ & FA from conceptual design, sample mock-up, industrialization and interaction with suppliers and other departments, to final production.

Main Responsibilities

  • Research and define of suppliers in order to realize the best techniques solutions maintaining design and quality standards;
  • Follow the research & development of Fashion Jewellery & Fashion Accessories of various materials such as metal, plexi, leather, fabric, and fur. For the FJ the candidate will manage various samples of bijoux, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and for the FA will manage various types of products like cover i-phone and airpods, charms, lighter holder, bottle holder, cutlery holder, glasses chains, etc);
  • Realize the technical drawings development and the design of accessories;
  • Manage market research and visit fine jewelry fairs to keep abreast of fashion trends in design and FJ/FA materials;
  • Define price negotiation with suppliers and product cost analysis;
  • Participate in technical meetings with style, modeling and product management team;
  • Collaborate in the development calendar to ensure the on time delivery of samples and production;
  • PLM management in order to fill in the technical sheets;
  • Information management for the finished product catalog and bill of materials.
  • Availability for frequent business trips within the national territory


  • Bachelor's Degree in Product Design or in a related field is required;
  • 4/5 years of product development experience within the Fashion Jewellery industry is a must;
  • Excellent knowledge of fashion jewellery & accessories development and manufacturing (technical knowledge of materials - semi-precious gemstones, polyresin, hi-tech, plastic, metal, bijoux, etc);
  • Good knowledge of CAD 2D and 3D, Photoshop or design software;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of spoken and written English;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel);
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work successfully in a team, as well as independently;
