Within the High Jewellery Production Planning & costing department based in Rome, we are looking for a Production Scheduler & Planning expert

The resource, according to the agreed Internal Production plan, will create, execute and follow up on the work schedule of the manufacturing department; allocating production lots along the internal production phases, respecting production capacity saturation targets and delivery date through continuous follow up and updating.


Profilo

Accountabilities

 

  • Assign production lots to production isles ensuring capacity saturation, leveling workload, avoiding production peaks and solving bottlenecks, according to validated production plan;

  • Ensure the correct tracking of the movement of semi-finished products and stones in the various phases;

  • Monitor the production status as for manufacturing hours and workload of all production kits/phases;

  • Schedule the production phases based on the needs of the production department and external suppliers, defining and agreeing the times;

  • Evaluate and implement production order rescheduling in case of production issues, urgency or delay in raw material availability in order to minimize the time required for processing the phase and maintain production continuity;

  • Coordinate Logistics, Quality, Production and Purchase teams giving priorities in order to respect the defined deadlines;

  • Collaborate with External Network/Purchasing department to ensure the fulfillment of the outsourced phases;

  • Manage KPIs and use a reporting system to check production status and produce relevant reporting (ERP system).

Qualifications/Professional Capabilities

 

  • At least 4 years' experience

  • University degree

  • Knowledge of production processes and techniques

  • Knowledge of main operational/logistics flows and procedure

  • Production planning and scheduling techniques

  • IT applications (ERP/SAP, Excel)

  • Simulation and scenario analysis/handling

  • Quantitative data analysis

  • Fluent in Italian and English
