Louis Vuitton is seeking a Project Manager for Sourcing and Facilities on the Store Planning team. This role will be based in the New York City office. The Project Manager will source new suppliers for Store Planning activities that can deliver competitive pricing in the luxury sector on time and of the highest quality.
As an experienced individual, essential teams and projects you will oversee include Millwork, Storefront and Architectural/Engineering Intervention. This is inclusive of sourcing for new millworkers and storefront manufacturers capable of delivering luxury-level supply and installation as well as knowing in depth knowledge of their specific design, projects, drawings and the fabrication process. Additionally, this individual will organize, level and award of both millwork and storefront contracts following bid. This individual will create RFPs, benchmark and create cost analysis'. Which strong assessment skills you will organize teams necessary to fix or change select issues related to but not limited to: HVAC, millwork, storefront, flooring, structural, etc. Part of this role will include getting involved in upfront design coordination on select projects that require a high level of complex execution.
We are eager to speak to professionals with 8+ years experience with engineering knowledge in all Utility related systems and a Bachelor's of Architecture Degree. The ideal candidate is versatile in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Excel and Word, and knowledge of BIM is preferred. In addition, you will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work in a fast paced environment and strong problem solving abilities. In this role you will work with teams as well as work cross functionally. The team is looking for an individual who is energetic and has a proactive attitude. In this role you will be traveling 10-20% of the time.
