Louis Vuitton is searching for our Women's Public Relations Director who will manage, direct, and strategize all functions of the Women's PR division for Louis Vuitton Americas both digitally and in print. Based in our New York City Corporate office, they will report directly into our SVP of Communications and manage the team responsible for all Women's categories of Ready-to-Wear, leather goods, shoes, watches, jewelry, travel, accessories, and fragrance. In addition, you will proactively develop editorial stories centric to product features including core product, new launches, and product stories to be pitched to top editors both nationally and regionally. The Women's Public Relations Director will be responsible for the departmental PR budget for the zone while working closely with the teams in Mexico and Brazil to support local initiatives and product launches.

Having built strong relationships with contacts in the industry, you will be responsible for developing a PR strategy and securing both editorial and institutional features to ensure there is an even balance in how the company is positioned in order to secure the top ranking spot in the industry. As the leader of Women's PR, you will oversee all fashion show activity and attend both the show and press appointments throughout the year both locally and internationally. Lastly, you will partner with the Special Events Director to develop press events and support the publicity of our zone events, as well as work closely with our Paris headquarters to coordinate all pitches for product centric stories.


We are eager to speak to professionals who possess a Bachelor's Degree in conjunction with a minimum of twelve to fifteen years' of progressive Public Relations experience who has managed large teams. The ideal candidate has established relationships with both North and South American Fashion Press, an understanding of both the print and digital landscape and a background in the luxury or high-end market. They will be adaptable to a fast paced environment, an enthusiastic team player, have exceptional communication skills and be a motivated self-starter.
