Position

To be in line with the new business strategy and enhancing the brand positioning, we are currently recruiting for a Public Relations & Media Manager to drive and lead the change.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Public Relations:

  • To work closely with Communication Director to formulate and manage Communication plan for all categories (Fashion, Watch & Jewelry, Fragrance, Arts & Culture, Objets Nomades and Publishing) with strong focus on digital
  • Must have strong network with local media, celebrities and influencers and be able to identify the right personality for the Brand
  • To liaise with media and handles all PR requests for all categories with the team 
  • To manage PR driven events including local and regional press launches and presentations, regional/international press trips, local influencer luncheons for product launches etc


Media:

  • To formulate and execute the local media planning strategies based on the understanding of Corporate guidelines while maintaining the focus on local business needs
  • Understand the local market needs and changing environment and adapt appropriate media strategies to the right target audience
  • Manage reports & in charge of the budget allocation and control in terms of Media

Profile

Key Requirements & Competencies

  • At least 10 solid years' experience in Public Relations & Media in similar luxury industry with digital focus
  • Bachelor's degree in communication, business admin or Marketing preferred but not a must
  • Mature & good team player
  • An open-minded manager with ability to adapt to changes quickly and easily (agility)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong managerial skills with experience in leading a team
  • Good writing skills, experience gained in press release editing and translations
  • Good knowledge of print production and graphic interpretation locally
  • Strong network with local media, press, celebrities & influencers
  • Strong management ability when dealing with outside event and public relations agencies
