As part of our Quality Team you will be focusing on our key mission "created with longevity in mind". You work closely with the colleagues from Development, Purchasing and Production together and cooperate with a national and
international network.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
° Evaluating new products in development and on-boarding stages, identifying, and mitigating potential quality concerns and/or issues
° Creating and continually maintaining product/materials standards
° Work closely with vendors ensuring they respect our quality processes and standards
° Traveling to subcontracted manufacturing factories for evaluation of new products and
collaborating with them in implementation of corrective and preventive actions
° Planning and coordinating quality inspection in our warehouses and at subcontracted
manufacturing factories
° Processing quality claims on subcontractors; determining appropriate corrective and
preventive actions and pursuing them until closure
° Arranging the testing of finished products, new materials and components by independent test
labs, as well as coordinating in-house testing
° Analyzing customer feedback on product performance and developing actions for
product quality improvements
Profile
° Minimum five years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, with specific experience
° Preferable experience with (small) leather goods, accessories and/or soft luggages
° Experience in conducting QC inspections, recording deviations on N/C parts and creating
inspection and test reports
° Strong knowledge of common materials used in luggage, handbags and small leather goods
° Proven ability to analyse data, identify quality issues and determine immediate corrections
required
° Possess a strong quality & conformance mindset, with strong attention to detail and ability to cross-check one's own work.
° Analytical-structured as well as accurate and independent way of working
° Distinct problem-solving ability
° Team spirit, confident and strong communication skills
° Routine in dealing with the MS Office
° Strong communication skills English language
° German and Italian language skills are particularly advantageous
° Strong willingness to travel
