Position

  • Support the Regional Brand Protection Manager in the execution of the anti-counterfeiting strategy within the Asia Pacific region
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g. supply chain on product authentication / retail business units regarding product and distribution information)
  • Engage with external stakeholders such as law enforcement agencies and outside counsel to prepare documents in support of enforcement actions
  • Source and maintain product and supply chain information to enable appropriate training to our internal and external stakeholders
  • Supervise enforcement actions, and ensure related evidence collection
  • Coordinate the review of legal documents, including drafting product authentication documents for law enforcement agencies across multiple jurisdictions
  • Assist with the preparation, legalization and notarisation of legal documents (such as Power of Attorney)
  • Conduct searches on IP databases as required

Profile

  • Recent graduate with minimum of 1 year of Intellectual Property experience gained either in a law firm or in-house, preferably in the luxury sector
  • Sound understanding of relevant IP laws and regulations in Hong Kong, and the broader region, including familiarity with the requirements and preparation of relevant legal documentation
  • High degree of integrity and attention to detail
  • Innovative, global mindset / Results oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Works well as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Excellent communication and research skills
  • Fluent written and oral English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to relevant Privacy Laws, internal policies and guidelines

Additional information

  • Travel required: 20%~50%, mostly in Greater China
