Position
The position reports to the Regional Marketing Manager. Ensure a key role in the elaboration, implementation and follow up of the makeup strategies for the Region to ensure an efficient, harmonized and consistent execution. Be a true support for markets and a reliable makeup expert for Central.
Contribute to the elaboration of relevant and harmonized makeup strategies for the Region
- From Central master plan and from the identification of Asian markets specific needs and expectations, elaborate the yearly makeup marketing plans and strategies in collaboration with the Regional Marketing Manager
- Establish guidelines on launch potentials
- Provide guidelines also on A&P action plans for basic and novelties (volumes and items to order mainly in terms of merchandising and sampling)
- Provide price positioning recommendation
Implement the Makeup marketing plans and strategies
- Relay and clarify corporate and regional objectives and strategy to local teams on a daily basis (provide regular updates, anticipate questions...)
- Should relay and contribute to building 360 launch plans for key initiatives (per "touchpoint" launch plans) in collaboration with Regional marketing team (media, CRM, merchandising)
- Interact and assist markets in the implementation of the strategy: review market forecasts on code 1, merchandising items and samples for novelties as well as for basic catalogue support
- Support and assist markets in the development and implementation of local action plans
- Ensure strong field presence to be fully knowledgeable about local practices, issues and needs.
Follow up on the implementation of the Makeup strategies
- Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback for each key launch as well as on an on-going basis
- Build strong partnerships with local teams to collect needs and requests and assess their relevance. Recommend adapted action plans when necessary.
- Anticipate and propose relevant initiatives also (ex: recommend to adjust a sales argument or to develop a specific sampling format)
- Favour best practice sharing across the Region
- Collaborate with Regional training team to develop, clarify and improve BC tools and sales speech
- Interact with Central Marketing teams to obtain most adapted tools (ex: specific glorifier...) and respect of deadlines
Support markets and Central team to develop make-up category
- Develop make-up business with related Central departments (marketing, media, digital, merchandising) and countries
- Preparation and implementation of thematic task forces related to key initiatives of the make-up category
- Consolidate and communicate to Central the needs, analysis, competitors information transmitted by countries about make-up category
Profile
- At least 5 years of experience in beauty industry, from selective brands / makeup specialists brands is a plus
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong numerical skills and a business mindset
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Resourceful, creative and self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Analytic thinking and insight on statistics
- Digital Savvy
- Fluent in English
- Required traveling in the region
