Position

The position reports to the Regional Marketing Manager. Elaborate, implement and follow up the Skincare & Promotion strategies for the Asia Pacific region to ensure a strong business impact and a consistent luxurious execution. Be a true support for markets, a leader to build activation plans with the Regional team, a reliable Skincare & Promotion expert for Central teams.

 

Contribute to the elaboration of the relevant and harmonized Skincare/Promotion strategies for the Region

  • From Central master plan and the identification of Asian markets specific needs /expectations, elaborate the yearly Skincare/Promotion marketing plans and strategies in collaboration with the Regional Marketing Manager
  • Communicate guidelines on launch potentials (benchmark, target)
  • Provide guidelines also on A&P action plans for basic and novelties (volumes and items to order mainly in terms of merchandising and sampling)
  • Provide price positioning recommendation
  • Present the strategy in various meetings

 

Implement the Skincare/Promotion marketing plans and strategies

  • Relay and explain the corporate vision, regional objectives, strategies to local teams on a daily basis (lead a regional skincare/promotion community, provide regular updates, anticipate questions, support markets to maximize each key initiative)
  • Initiate, build and communicate omni-channel activation plans for key initiatives in collaboration with the Regional team (media, CRM, training, retail, merchandising)
  • Interact and support markets in the implementation of the strategy : review market skincare/promotion strategies, 360 launch activations, forecasts, merchandising items and samples for novelties as well as for basic catalogue support
  • Support and assist markets in the development and implementation of local action plans for all distribution channels (counters, boutiques, retailers, e-commerce)
  • Ensure strong field presence to be fully knowledgeable about local practices, needs and problematics (at least 50% time dedicated to trips outside Hong Kong)

 

Follow up on the implementation of the Skincare/Promotion strategies

  • Gather quantitative and qualitative feedbacks for each key launch as well as on an on-going basis
  • Build strong partnerships with local teams to collect needs and requests and assess their relevance. Recommend adapted action plans when necessary (ex: product usage and positioning, product customization...).
  • Anticipate and pro-actively propose initiatives/corrective actions (ex: adjust a sales argument, develop a specific sampling format...)
  • Favor best practice sharing across the Region
  • Collaborate with Regional training team to develop, clarify and improve BC tools and sales speech 
  • Interact with Central Marketing teams to obtain the most adapted tools (ex: specific glorifier, brochures...) and  to ensure the respect of deadlines (launch dates)
  • Do thorough and regular analysis of the skincare/promotion categories to build strategic recommendations (for products development or marketing mix adjustment)

 

 Develop Asia specific promotional strategy and offers

  • Co-develop with Central the Asia specific offers based on Asia specific needs to help strengthen the business in our region
  • Follow up closely with Central MOP and markets to ensure markets respect the promotion guidelines
  • Analyze and summarize promo status to management
  • Ad hoc reports on competitors promotional activities

 


Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in beauty industry, from selective brands / makeup specialists brands is a plus
  • Solid experience in Skincare, ideally from selective brands with a strong skincare axis
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong numerical skills and business mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Resourceful, creative and self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Digital Savvy
  • Fluent in English
  • Required traveling in the region
