Position

Key Objective

Work closely with Merchandising and Logistics Team on stock allocation, stock consolidation and merchandise forecasting for all Asia Pacific markets. Ensure to have the right stock in the right store at the right time.

 

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for optimizing stock level and stock availability at both market and regional level
  • Work with Merchandising and Finance teams on monthly sales forecast
  • Manage target stock level (TSL) in the replenishment tool to ensure proper stock depth and coordinate the assortment with local merchandisers by store
  • Ensure store stock level and allocation align with TSL
  • Analyze store stock level to identify items with high stock coverage and propose action plans
  • Liaise with central and markets on seasonal product launch; and monitor delivery status to ensure on time delivery
  • Plan the availability of merchandise for store openings and special events
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth and efficient supply in the region
  • Drive the rebalancing process to maximize sell-thru with existing stock between markets in weekly basis
  • Provide analytical comments to Merchandising team on sales & stock situation
  • Work closely with HQ on developing inventory strategies and improving existing supply chain processes
  • Work together with Merchandising and Finance teams to analyze stock and to provide depletion recommendation
  • Coordinate with HQ and Regional team on seasonal markdown
  • Contribute to the development and the effective use of stock planning tools/templates and train up the local teams

Profile

Job Requirements:

  • University degree holder
  • At least 8 years of supply chain/merchandise planning experience within retail industry
  • Regional experience is preferred
  • Written and spoken English/Cantonese and preferably Mandarin as well
  • Excellent computer skills, especially in Excel
  • Proactive and good team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skill
  • Patient and able to work under pressure
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • Results-oriented, with good business acumen and market sense
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
