Position

Key Objective

This role reports directly to the Regional General Merchandising Manager, Men's, contributes to company success through managing the Fendi Men's category for Asia Pacific. Coordinate and support each buying season, study and define the product assortment according to the specificity of each markets, identify adequate action plans to grow men's business, provide product training to the markets.

 

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Buying

  • Lead seasonal buying strategies according to the guidelines and business direction
  • Analyze and define the product assortment according to the specificity of each market in Asia Pacific
  • Attend the seasonal buying sessions to ensure the right merchandise selection to achieve targeted sales projections and sell-throughs
  • Execute plans for seasonal buying and OTB in order to meet the company business objectives
  • Support in the preparation of sales forecast, co-ordinate on re-ordering of merchandise

 

Merchandising, Product Training & VM

  • Manage and execute launch plan according to HQ guidelines and sales plan
  • Initiate and create sell through analysis by classification and style to create actionable strategies to drive sales
  • Monitor overall inventory levels and take appropriate actions when necessary
  • Supervising stock level, sales performance, merchandise distribution, and reordering on time to ensure the punctual delivery
  • Define product assortment for new openings and monitor deliveries 
  • Prepare and deliver training to enhance sales team's product knowledge on menswear
  • Work with regional VM team with HQ guidelines on visual merchandising and in-store display according to launch schedule / marketing campaign / sales and stock level
  • Support retail pricing for each market, in line with pricing policy and global positioning set by regional and headquarter

 

Commercial Follow-up

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports with merchandise comments and sales trend by category
  • Follow up with the development of quality and after sales services
  • Conduct market research on market trends, competitors' pricing and product offer

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5-8 years or above Menswear buying and merchandising experience in Asia Pacific markets, particularly in South East Asia
  • Strong fashion sense, familiar with both local and overseas market trends
  • Strong analytics skills, detail oriented and numerically sensitive
  • Strong knowledge on menswear especially on Tailoring categories
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation and training skills and fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
  • Self-motivated, results oriented and able to work under pressure on tight deadlines
  • Able to work independently but also collaboratively with cross functional teams
  • Proficient in MS Office especially on MS Excel and Power Point
