Position
Buying
- Drive buying sessions in Paris to ensure best merchandise is purchased at appropriate quantities/sizes to achieve targeted sales projections and sell-through
- Put together seasonal open-to-buy with Business Planning
- Prepare sales forecast on products, deliver reliable sales planning data
- Work closely with Supply Chain for production distribution
Merchandising
- In charge of all ready-to-wear related issues
- Plan seasonal product launch to preview new collection for clients
- Initiate collection launch trunk shows and prepare looks for presentation
- Provide the boutique network with relevant collection/product information, sales strategies and selling techniques
- Work with VM on collection launches, boutique remerchandising & season end sale
- Conduct market research, competitors analysis and trends
- Analyze sales performance through sell-through analysis & propose action plan
- Plan seasonal markdown schedules and provide markdown list
- Control inventory level
Promotion
- Collaborate with VM team to have synergetic launch, in-store merchandising, window display/visuals
- Work with PR to ensure brand image promotion is in line with product plan
- Identify business opportunities with CDM, local markets and retail
- Propose incentives for selective categories
Training
- Organize/conduct products training
- Provide relevant product information, sales strategies
Profile
- University graduate in related discipline
- Previous experience in merchandising of luxury good and service related industry preferred
- 5-8 years' relevant working experience
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skill
- Communication skill
- Language skills: English, Cantonese & Mandarin, other language ability is an added advantage
