Covering 5 different regions, TR APAC is and will continue to be the biggest contributor and the most dynamic region in the Travel Retail Market. The regional marketing team plays a key role in supporting all the different markets in the region, to accelerate its business in Asia and to stand out in a competitive environment. In this growing aggressive market context, we seek an individual who is pro-active and able to assist the Regional Marketing Manager in spearheading key projects and strategies to contribute to the growth of Guerlain in TR APAC.

The Regional Marketing Executive in collaboration with the Regional Marketing Manager will:

  • Be the leader and expert in the Makeup and Fragrance Category; A driving force in growing this Axis while guaranteeing the company's strategy/brand image ; Responsible for the Forecasts/Budgets for all elements associated with these 2 Axes
  • Be the main contact for the sales teams from the Korea, Hong Kong and Oceania; fulfilling the marketing tasks necessary to grow in these major regions; Become an expert in these regions
  • Deliver regular reporting, communication to the sales teams
  • Have regular contact with Paris Sell out team + Paris Supply team +Local Market Asia teams


Marketing Strategy

  • Responsible for Recommendations and Follow up for TR Asia Forecasts in Fast Cycles/Monthly TR Sets forecasts/Future Master Planning
  • Responsible for 3/yearly Sales Cycles + Adaptations of 360 action plans, follow up of local production of all marketing elements (brochures, leaflets, retailer booklets, visuals etc)
  • Retailers Presentations 2/yearly in anticipation of sales team's meetings including recommended assortment list
  • Responsible for budget and follow up of GWP/Merchandising/Grooming expenses for 2/yearly budget meetings.
  • Regular communication of New marketing launches / Novelty performances / Promo Plan / Logistics and supply info / Fast Bible / HP numbers etc; and their subsequent action plans to the sales teams

Reports and Analyses

  • Weekly: Supply Bulletins
  • Monthly : Sell in vs Fast / Sell out reports / TR Sets Sell in vs forecast/TR sets minutes
  • Quarterly: Beaute Research reports
  • 2x per year: Budget preparation

Organisation of Events

  • TFWA Singapore Tax Free (May)
  • 3/yearly Sales Cycle meetings
  • Support Retail & Training Manager for BA seminar presentation decks and organization (March)

Visual Merchandising

  • Follow up on monthly Visuals and POS film, including Simplified and Traditional Chinese translations 
  • Give VM input on planograms 
  • Provide advertising layout, translation, special layout and packshots for Airlines listing


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Business Management
  • Fluent in English (Mandarin is a must)
  • Excellent Microsoft Window skills
  • Knowledge of SAP, Orion is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Beauty (Travel Retail is a plus)
