STRATEGY - Ownership of Purchasing strategy, vision and execution > Define and put in place purchasing strategies for A&P, POSM and Indirect, in order to give a competitive advantage to the Markets. It means bringing value to the business, besides costs optimization. > Benchmark and scout the market in order to challenge and optimize the existing purchasing conditions in terms of cost and service level aiming at increasing our competitiveness and profitability. Deal with both tactical opportunities and long-term strategic goal. > Lead the sourcing, development if need be, tendering, and execution of the projects, always in close collaboration with internal clients > Bring a merchandising & agency knowledge, A&P marketing skills and sensibility to products and projects; > Attend related industry conferences & trainings to maintain competitive skills set > Design and manage a KPI dashboard to measure and boost the performance of our internal processes and of our suppliers. Identify the needs of the team and act as key user towards IT for the relevant applications development OPERATIONAL - Procurement Projects Management > Launch the RFQs to the suppliers selected from the panel, advocate strategy, analyse and benchmark results and negotiate with the suppliers/agencies; > Select suppliers & agencies in accordance with department strategy and manage them from a portfolio perspective; > Guarantee the achievement of the Compliance, Quality, Timing and Cost objectives for each project; > Ensure the management of the schedules and goals with best-in-class project management skills; > Organize working sessions between the brands and agencies whenever needed; > Review, and manage the contracts and supplier/agency negotiations and feedback; track key contracts & expiration dates to ensure proactivity; > Research and recommend tools, processes & systems to ensure effective business processes; > Participate in projects aiming at improving the purchasing process > Ensure the reporting of his/her activities toward senior management. VISION - Optimize the vision over the Brands plans > Keep a synthetic vision of the market category and know the main players and industry trends; > Ensure that negotiation processes are well managed and ensure strategic objectives are reached; > Manage the agency & supplier panel by evaluating suppliers and developing relationships; > Manage through challenges such as quality or delay issues, if necessary, with agencies, suppliers and brand contacts; > Organize regular Business reviews with Internal clients (Marketing teams) and with key suppliers > Meet with key stakeholders regularly to have a clear picture of budgets, key projects, brand objectives, ensuring alignment; INNOVATION - Propose innovations through Supplier / Agency Panel Market Trends & Competitor Information > Promote an environment of innovation, respect and collaboration; > Understand the marketing category and business strategy and make recommendations on new approaches; > Promote new product / process / technical innovation initiatives; > Propose suppliers' presentations to internal customers; > Lead category-related Innovation Day activities; > Participate as required on transversal projects
> Lead the A&P, POSM and Indirect purchasing portfolio. > Scope is primarily Taiwan, Hong-Kong/Macao, Korea, which could be extended to other countries > Define and implement Purchasing Operating Model integrating best practices. > Lead the implementation of streamlined and compliant Purchase-to-Pay processes > Establish purchasing strategies for major categories to improve business benefits by consolidating purchasing power to drive cost efficiency and process improvements > Bring value creation to Internal clients, Marketing & Sales, via Purchasing strategies set-up, strong Supplier Relationship Management, and regular Business Reviews = Business partner to the brands > Regularly report purchasing initiatives to senior management team while collaborating with regional and global Purchasing team > Put Innovation as a strong mindset.
Languages : - Fluent in English and Mandarin - Cantonese, Korean will be an advantage - French is a plus Professional experience & knowhow : - 10 years of relevant experience in global business Purchasing functions and/or Marketing functions related - Marketing related exposure or background will be an advantage - Consulting experiences will be an advantage Technical & management skills : - Analytical and effective database management capability - Demonstrated negotiation skills - Presentation and coordination skills (like a consultant) Personal & interpersonal skills : - Diplomat, knows how to read the situations - Client-oriented, pleasant to work with - Self-starter, curious and autonomous - Strong team player with influencing skills - Leadership, knows how to move lines and embark people - Result oriented, efficient
