Covering Australia and New Zealand, the Retail Manager is responsible for driving the business across the different doors in Airport or Downtown to ensure sell out targets are being achieved and market share is gained. The successful candidate will be directly supervising, mentoring and motivating a team of high performing Beauty Advisors. The Retail Manager will be responsible for the brand image, merchandising and promotion.
Communicate sales target to Beauty Advisors and ensure that targets are being met on a monthly basis
Be on the shop floor to drive sales along with Beauty Advisors and be pro-active in sharing feedback to AM and action plan to boost sales
Provide regular feedback from the shop floor on traffic, new product performance etc. any relevant fact that might affect/boost overall business performance
Build tailor made promotional plan with AM according to budget available. Identify additional opportunity and propose to AM thanks to strong field presence and market knowledge
Responsible of GWP budget and allocation to market / counter according to business needs. Review and analyse on a monthly basis usage / allocation / performance etc.
Ensure all POSM, testers and GWP are ordered on time and in a controlled way with the support of Commercial Executive
Follow-up on novelty order based on Fast and first order recommendations
Forecast all POSM needed by door as well as recommended quantities for novelties to be discussed with AM
Follow-up Merch budget including HQ posm, local development, visual, light boxes, deco events and testers
Forecast POSM for new launches and ensure that the POSM is implemented at the right place and at the right time
Develop and implement tailor made planogram on a monthly basis according to new launches and performance of SKU by door
Provide feedback and ideas on new counter renovation as well as counter design according to feedback from shop floor and business needs: provide suggested opening order to retailer in collaboration with Commercial executive, follow up on counter construction and installation with Merchandising Team. Ensure that new opening report is being sent to management and follow up on defects
Brief and challenge local suppliers in order to monitor the promo budget => AM to validate related invoices
Set targets for each special event (BC, OCE, MU event pads...).
Ensure the set-up follow the brand guidelines + different timelines constraints (retailer / contractor)
Consolidate promotions results (quanti+quali+P&L of animation) and elaborate recommendation, action plan based on best-practices and key learnings
Monitor animations budget and optimize costs whenever it is possible
Monthly newness report
GMBR: competition / various spreadsheets (with AM)
Presentation to Retailers: launch plan + action plans if applicable
Budget presentation twice a year
Traveling: 40% of time
Follow-up travel plan in line with budget and needs

The successful candidate is likely to demonstrate the following:

Salary: $85,000 - $89,999
