Position

This is a head office position to provide high-level effective Retail Operational and HR functions to our Boutique teams in line with the requirements of the company and the market in order to drive and maximise Boutiques performance and ensure that business challenges and needs are met and anticipated.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include:

Project Management:

Define and manage project strategy for Boutiques in collaboration with the Sales Team to drive incremental sales and customer loyalty in line with Company strategy.
Supervise and optimise Boutique projects in performance, quality and functionality.
Act as point of contact between Boutiques and suppliers as required.


Events Management:

Plan and organize Boutique events in collaboration with the Sales team to drive incremental sales, create and reinforce brand image and brand loyalty, and build and maintain the brand's reputation with its customers.
Responsible for budget, planning and organisation of all Company conferences.


Boutique Operations:

Assess and review current Boutique operational processes and recommended areas for improvement
Manage and coordinate daily operational matters and requests (including maintenance) for all Boutiques.
Develop sales presentations and reports
Review and recommend opportunities to optimise workforce planning and enhance business performance
Support the Retail Sales team with Request to Employ/Transfer and Termination forms, commissions and incentives.
Ensure implementation and application of Boutique Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure adherence to Dior retail operation standards.


Relationship Management

Establish relationship with shopping centre management to identify potential opportunities to enhance business performance.
Communicate and collaborate with Head Office teams to maximise retail excellence.


Human Resource Management:

Develop and implement performance management systems to address and improve individual performance of Boutique team members.
Advise and assist Retail Managers regarding recruitment and selection processes for Boutique team members to enhance team performance and to build strong succession plans.
Organise induction and orientation training for all Boutique team members.
Review, evaluate and update relevant Human Resources policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000


Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of previous related experience in retail operations
  • Strong project management ability
  • At ease building relationships and interacting with people on all hierarchical levels
  • Able to prioritize and comfortable balancing different interests and stakeholders
  • Good understanding of the (luxury) consumer goods environment
  • Commercially aware with solid business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • At ease with figure work - budgets and headcount reporting
