Provide operational and financial support to the Region Finance Director, Region SVP and market leadership on Revenue Management, while protecting MHUSA best interests, through value chain optimization.
Budget & Forecast: 30% of time.
> Work with Region Finance Director and Region Leadership to deliver Full Year Revenue / P&L targets for the region, as part as the overall MHUSA budget process.
> Identify R&O, with market-specific detail; suggest and collaborate with region and market leaders on FTT mitigation plans to ensure targets are met, follow-up on implementation.
> Manage entire "Annual Price Increase Process" via the Pricing Tool. Ensure NSI delivery, accurate and timely price filing, and compliance with price increase timing direction (specific brand / month). Ensure clear & efficient communication with Commercial Pricing, Central FP&A and Finance teams.
Actual & Profitability: 40% of time.
> Work with Region Finance Director to analyze P&L monthly. Write and publish commentary by market & brand providing analysis of current performance (YTD and YTG) to Sr. Leadership and New York office teams (execs, Brands, FP&A). Make recommendations based on analysis.
> Monitor closely distributor margin, leveraging VIP Data (detailed distributor sales information) and liaising with central Commercial Management team. Formally report compliance and variances, quarterly, and as requested to Sr Leadership for them to action
> Provide Pricing/Volume/Mix analysis to Sr. Leadership explaining variances to profit plan.
> Track, oversee, reconcile and analyze FTT on a monthly basis. Provide regular ROI analysis and make recommendations based on analysis. Manage FTT Calendars within Anaplan.
> Validate all distributor FTT invoices in Webcycle against active FTT Calendar prior to approval.
> Maintain standardized Pricing Calendar for all markets in the region.
> Ensure Price Indexes across markets within the region are aligned.
> Work with MM's to manage pricing requests and/or pricing issues with Commercial Pricing team.
> Provide ad-hoc pricing analysis (Beverage Media) to Sr. Leadership.
> Track and analyze DPP on a monthly basis. Align with market leaders on compliance, plan modifications, recommended actions, etc. Prepare and carry out yearly DPP audits with distributor Finance counterpart to ensure optimized use of the investment.
> Process all Distributors invoices.
Depletions: 30% of time.
> Assist Region Finance Director with Depletions Tracking: Market Manager Forecast, Monthly Rolling Forecast, Mid Month, Month End. Analyze Month End commentary and provide analysis to Sr. Leadership.
> Responsible to load MRF into Anaplan at the size level for Central FP&A.
> Consolidate MRF/R&O's. -action results as directed by Sr. Leadership into Anaplan.
Education: Undergraduate Degree in Accounting/ Finance required.
> 7+ years business experience in an Accounting/ Finance Sales leadership role, in a Finance environment and within the US Beverage Alcohol Industry.
> Strong communication skills.
> Solid system skills: SAP & Advanced excel skills required / Anaplan is a plus.
> Must be a highly organized individual who is able to work with limited direction as well as to set and adjust priorities independently. High level of attention to detail and accuracy and strong analytical skills.
> Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and must be able to adapt to various work styles
