The Sales Development Manager, North America, will be responsible for supporting key retailers and field members in order to execute programs and drive sales and performance. With a strong understanding of financial analysis and retail operations excellence, The Sales Development Manager will directly support Sephora US, Sephora CA, Sephora MX and Sephora in JC Penney accounts. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Development, North America, the Sales Development Manager, will closely collaborate with and work cross functionally across departments.



  • Support of key retailers and field members
    • Communicate to NA retailers on orders and PO management
    • Communicate to NA retailers on new launch and limited life allocations, inventory related planning and strategy
    • Support the field team for all non-sellable ordering (samples, supplies, and carstock)
    • Maintain distribution setup as we open and close doors / accounts / field change
    • Oversee sampling execution and allocation partnering with trade marketing and retailers
  • Forecasting
    • Forecast replenishment, new launches and one shot on a monthly basis
    • Provide detailed analysis and insights to drive business through forecast
    • Manage the discontinuation of SKUs
  • Reporting
    • Own reporting & sales analysis for select channels
    • Own reporting development, evolution, enhancement
    • Responsible for information integrity and organization; information systems integrity


  • Bachelor's Degree required in a related field such as Business Administration or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Sales Development, Finance or Retail Operations
  • Strong business acumen and financial aptitude
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills
  • High levels of experience with negotiation
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Achievement oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Multifunctional with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
