Position

MAIN PURPOSE:

The Sales Support Manager has the responsibility to support day to day operations and efficiencies across the different Department of the Store improving processes to support the team and the upper Management. This role is instrumental in the implementation of brand guidelines and providing solutions and ideas which can create value to the improvement of customer service and retail operations. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to lead and execute projects end to end and cascade to the teams.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify risks within the store and action plan improvements
  • Health and Safety - standards compliance and implement agreed improvements
  • Support SM to identify merchandising and replenishment needs
  • Develop SM, AM and team's operational knowledge and train new starters during induction period
  • Develop the expertise of stock controllers
  • Optimise stockroom space, oversee stockroom and BOH organisation and ensure product maintenance
  • Oversee stock movements and negatives
  • Ensure company policies are being followed
  • Arrange and supervise contractors for store improvements
  • Oversee stocktake organisation and retail checks compliance
  • Reporting - monthly, YTD, sales trends, tax free, client data capture, stock levels, EOS sales...
  • Identify slow movers and work with SM to create an action plan
  • TOV material orders and maintenance
  • Prepare Aplitec daily documents (France) with SM and AM
  • Prepare Brinks/Loomis with SM and AM
  • Material orders - Lyreco, drinks, packaging, uniforms...
  • Oversee Petty cash use with SM and AM
  • Oversee customer care procedures, including local repairs and fitting requests
  • Footfall count tracking/reporting

Profile

Education and Experience: 

  • Education: to Degree level or above
  • Experience: minimum of 5 years' experience in Luxury Retail, minimum of 3 years' managing people
  • Software: Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good team player and ability to work on own with high levels of motivation
  • Sound knowledge of UK Retail Laws, security and Health and Safety Legislation
