Louis Vuitton is searching for a Seasonal Data Project Planner based in our New York office that will support our Supply Chain & Logistics team for a period of four months. The Data Project Planner will be responsible for automating processes and developing data analysis in order of optimizing added value resources and will propose optimal products allocation. The Data Project planner will also be responsible for monitoring distribution and follow SOP process to ensure appropriate availability presence rate for the Leather Goods and Watches & Jewelry categories to support the sales in their network of stores.
As an experienced Data Project Planner, you will provide support with inventory planning to ensure deployment according to the demand, allocating the products according to priorities, opportunities, and constraints in terms of transportation and shipping. As well as controlling the availability of products, identifying, and reporting the shortages and stocks excess risks while communicating the availability of products to Store and Merchandising teams. The role will also focus on rebalancing the organization by identifying opportunities of product rebalance within the distribution network. In addition, you will assist with transversal projects and anticipate and assess the impacts of unexpected events on demand and sales on the planning horizon.
We are eager to speak to individuals with 1+ years of experience in Inventory Planning and Analysis, Supply Chain and Merchandise Allocation who have product sensibility of the luxury market within a fast paced, evolving organization. You will have strong analytical and communication skills and advanced skills in Power BI, Machine Learning, and Python. As someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, you are also highly organized, detailed driven, and adapt easily to internal systems. Fluency in French and Spanish is a plus.
