Louis Vuitton is searching for our Senior Accounting Manager located in our New York City Corporate office who will manage all functions related to sales audit, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, intercompany transactions, and General Ledger (GL) accounts for all Louis Vuitton Americas entities and other assigned LVMH entities. As an experienced people manager, you will supervise and develop your teams to ensure accuracy in their processes and oversee the administration of projects related to the different functions. As the Senior Accounting Manager, you will manage the relationships between your team and other business partners such as Tax, Internal Control, Accounting, IS&T, Procurement, Treasury, and Retail.
Being experienced in the Retail industry, you will manage relationships between Retail and Sales Audit for cash discrepancies and credit card chargebacks while partnering with Internal control to ensure teams are using best practices for efficiency. In addition, you will work closed with AP and AR on the accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing process. Lastly, you will be responsible for working with our central team for any inquiries, projects, and reporting needs for all areas of your scope.
We are eager to speak to professionals who possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and who have seven to ten years' of relevant experience in Accounting. The ideal candidate has successfully managed teams for at least five years with specific experience in managing the Sales Audit and Accounts Payable functions. You will have previous experience working in Retail, using the SAP system, and have worked in a high volume transaction environment. In addition, you will be adaptable to a fast paced atmosphere, an enthusiastic team player, have exceptional communication skills and be a motivated self-starter.
