Louis Vuitton has a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Advertising Manager to join their Communications team based in New York City. Reporting into the Advertising Director and specifically focusing on traditional media channels (print, outdoor and TV), this diverse role will be accountable for the seamless execution of the global advertising plan across the US, Canada, Brazil & Mexico and assessing all media opportunities in a timely fashion while determining their alignment with the Louis Vuitton brand.

With proven knowledge in media buying & planning, print media & current industry trends and working in collaboration with the Advertising Director, this role will be accountable for communicating and negotiating with media vendors on advertising plans and changes to ensure they follow the internal creative guidelines. In addition to strong negotiation skills in print media, the successful candidate must have thorough knowledge and experience with buying on TV (and worked on previous campaigns) along with a proven understanding of the outdoor market place specifically in relation to costings and buying techniques. Working across all regions & countries, this diverse role will also be responsible for coordinating with the agency teams ensuring that quick and effective decisions are made on all print media plans.

Working in a fast paced and team orientated environment, the role will also be accountable for the creative production of advertising campaigns, budget management and catalogue coordination. Working closely with the Advertising Manager, you will time campaigns in tandem with digital activity and discover innovative ways to complement one another in your respective channel. Furthermore, you will have experience with post campaign reporting and the ability to assess if a plan delivered the desired results and identify ways to improve future campaigns.


To be considered for this role you must have strong experience in print media planning, budget management and negotiating media opportunities. With strong attention to detail in addition to exceptional buying communication and rapport building skills, you will be a strong team player while also taking accountability for making decisions in this continually evolving environment.
