To be a team member of a Shared Service Centre, Accounts Receivable department. With the responsibility of maintaining an orderly Sales Ledger and the collection of company debt & to assist the Credit Manager and supervision of two part-time Credit Controllers.




  • Supervision of the whole department when the Credit Control Manager is not available
  • Oversee the customer administration team on a daily basis
  • Assist Credit Control Manager to prepare reporting requirements for all companies
  • Prepare and maintain all necessary actions required within a credit management function
  • Oversee weekly overdue report and communicate to the commercial teams and customer services
  • Oversee customer blocked order list and follow up to the commercial teams to resolve
  • Resolving customer queries escalations from the team
  • Ensure monthly cash & DSO targets are met
  • Monthly customer account reconciliation's are met
  • Ensure customer dunning letters have been raised and followed up
  • Clear credit notes against debit notes from underpayments data base & SAP
  • Prepare quarterly underpayment reconciliation reviews.
  • Ensure Direct Debit bank run has been actioned twice monthly
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and deal with any queries that other team members need assistance on
  • Take part in monthly meetings with the commercial teams in our head office in London to resolve queries
  • Communicate with senior management on credit topics



Reports To: Credit Risk Manager

Direct Reports: Two part time Credit Controllers

Internal: Finance, Marketing and Commercial Teams, Departmental Managers. Head Quarter

External: Customers (Retailers), Credit Insurers




  • Must have at least 5 years or more experience within a Credit Control role
  • Management of a team
  • Excellent Team player
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Excellent telephone technique skills
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Must have a sense of urgency, be prompt and dynamic in a fast paced environment
