Position

Within our Corporate Tax Department, in Rome, we are looking for a Senior International Tax Specialist that  will report to the Corporate Tax Executive Director.

The resource will optimize the worldwide tax compliance in the different business scenario, analyzing the best company structure and the appropriate economic flows and will define and implement the Bulgari Group tax plan in line with business needs (together with advisors, through the Administration Managers and in coordination both with the Bulgari Corporate Tax and with the shareholder's tax department).

 

Accountabilities

  • Provide fiscal support and consultancy to each department/company finding solutions applicable to each one or to more than one company;
  • Support subsidiaries in periodic Tax auditing, cooperating with local Administration/Support Services departments;
  • Give support in the "due diligence" for tax issues in any merge & acquisition activity/project;
  • Coordinate local tax advisory consultants in all projects regarding new company creation, merges and acquisitions;
  • Cooperate with Corporate Legal in the definition, verification and management of contracts between companies of the Bulgari Group;
  • Analyze and implement policies to avoid/minimize tax litigations and give support and advise on tax return preparation (Italy) in coordination with both the Bulgari Corporate Tax and the shareholder's Tax department;
  • Continuously learn and apply the most updated methodologies and tools for tax management trying to reduce the cost for compliance;
  • Manage Italian and International litigations;
  • Give support in the definition of the correct inter-company transfer price;
  • Study the reduction of double taxation in the International Environment;
  • Coordinate International Tax Compliance (i.e. TP documentation; Dac 6, CBCR, MAP procedure, etc.)

Profile

Qualifications/Professional Capabilities

  • 5/7 years' experience in a similar role within international environment/Headquarter
  • University degree
  • Budget & Reporting techniques
  • Transfer pricing
  • OECD rules
  • National/International tax regulations
  • Tax litigations aspects, rules            
  • Accounting principles and procedures
  • Very good analytical skills and advanced Excel skills
  • Fluency in Italian and English, French as a plus
