The position is responsible for managing and coordinating sourcing activities for assigned indirect categories. Primary focus will be on indirect categories such as Marketing, Travel, HR, Digital, IT, etc. This includes strategy development, category analysis, insight and knowledge sharing, change management, implementation, and delivery of innovative practices. The ability to provide sourcing/procurement consulting expertise, manage projects and deliver detailed, accurate, and comprehensive solutions to the group is critical to the role. This position reports to the Senior Director Group Sourcing.
This dynamic and versatile role offers an ambitious individual with an entrepreneurial spirit the opportunity to handle a variety of projects and to work with suppliers, 3rd party partners, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization both in our corporate offices and with our Houses. The role splits its time between 1) project management of sourcing coordination initiatives, 2) supplier management and contract management, 3) executing cost saving and rebate initiatives. The role will drive projects on category initiatives while working coordination projects across teams; will have close collaboration with all cross functional departments and manage supplier involvement to ensure business success. The LVMH Group coordination aspect of this role creates learning opportunities and builds on core skills, stretching into all areas of operations. Areas of coordination projects include but are not limited to: Store Retail Operations, Marketing, HR, Finance, General Services, IT, Transportation/Supply Chain, Sustainability. An ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and negotiation skills, is willing to learn by doing, aggressively pursues goals and deadlines, has a strong understanding of retail and is looking to ascend within their professional development. Primary Responsibilities > Provide sourcing/procurement consulting expertise to support maisons. > Lead work groups through collaborative processes and ensure decisions are consistent with overall group strategy, policy, needs and overall sourcing process. > Responsible for negotiating indirect category related actions and ensuring service levels are maintained with suppliers. > Construct standardized agreements, and contracts with qualified suppliers, which contain the benefits (service, technology, innovation, quality, flexibility etc.) for the company. Maintain contract files, contract calendars, supplier performance scorecards and purchase price variance analysis. > Develop systems and analytical tools to assess, track, audit and monitor trade, tariff and regulatory changes that may impact the supplier base. > Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders within the region. > Some travel required. Qualifications Education and Experience > Bachelor's degree > Minimum of 7-10 years Sourcing, Procurement, Consulting and/or Finance. > Retail industry and/or Consulting experience a plus > Experience in indirect categories Skills and Knowledge > Excellent relationship management and leadership skills > Strong knowledge of indirect spend categories > Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing operations and processes > Ability to apply sourcing practices (Assessment, Strategy, Cost & Financial Analysis) > Development, implementation and administration of standardized RFP and RFI projects > Procure to Pay > Vendor Negotiation/Contract Management skills > SOW, SLA, and KPI management > Customer-oriented focus > Ability to interact with all levels of management (internal and external) > Strong analytical, presentation, and project management skills > Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools and industry data sources > Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and applicable business software > Fluent in Spanish is a plus
