Position

Louis Vuitton is searching for our Senior Manager of Procurement located in the New York City Corporate office who is a seasoned procurement lead responsible for indirect spend management and supplier selection to meet business needs supporting all of our environments (offices, retail stores, distribution centers, and workshops) within the Louis Vuitton Americas zone. As a strategic thinker with operational execution, you will need to understand the needs of the business and find appropriate solutions while working across departments to manage each request. Being an expert in your field with demonstrated knowledge in a broad range of spend categories, you will use your market knowledge to select appropriate vendors and create Requests for Information, Quotes, and Proposals, and negotiate as applicable to the situation. The Senior Manager of Procurement is also responsible for constantly seeking improvements to current programs while being proactive for future projects.


You will also lead negotiations with vendors and ensure the suppliers are meeting our expectations through continued communication with both the vendors and internal stakeholders. Lastly, you will work with our worldwide procurement team for understanding of the global initiatives and with LVMH counterparts to discuss best practices and identify synergies for leveraging further at the group level.


Profile

We are eager to speak to professionals who possess a Bachelor's Degree and who have a minimum of seven years' of relevant procurement experience with demonstrated category expertise in a broad range of spend categories (i.e. transportation, IT, HR, retail opex, store construction, meetings, and events). In addition, you will have worked in Retail, preferably for an international company. The ideal candidate has exceptional negotiation skills, experience with SAP and other e-Procurement systems, has a CPM or CPSM designation, and is able to handle multiple priorities while meeting aggressive deadline. In addition, you will be adaptable to a fast paced environment, an enthusiastic team player, have exceptional communication skills to present to all levels of the organization and be a motivated self-starter who can deal with ambiguity.
