Louis Vuitton has a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager - Womenswear & Jewellery to work on a 12 month contract (covering maternity leave). Reporting into the Communications Director, this diverse role will be based in Central London and support the business in the UK, Ireland & South Africa.
The main accountabilities of this role will be to enhance the Womenswear & Jewellery categories product positioning by promoting and driving the brand desirability, identity, and awareness, within national and international media, while also observing and adhering to guidelines provided by the Louis Vuitton Central Communications team based in Paris. This unique and senior position in the Communications team is responsible for creating and implementing press strategies for key brand moments through a 360 approach for new product launches, press releases, celebrity dressing, and Womens styling opportunities. You will also manage and execute press related events, including press days, launch parties, press reviews and conferences, from inception to conclusion, including budgeting, planning, guest-list, through to ROI.
To be successful in this role, the key is possessing both a creative and commercial mindset. You must have demonstrable experience of working within a senior level Press capacity in a high-profile luxury brand, with a wealth of media contacts in the UK & Ireland. In addition to proven track record of managing multiple stakeholder relationships in an international environment, you will have exceptional communication, rapport building and interpersonal skills, you will be a strong team player while also taking accountability for making decisions in this continually evolving environment.
We work in an exceptionally fast paced and agile market therefore you must be comfortable working in a role with changing priorities and workloads. Ideally, you will have worked within the luxury market and it is essential that you are in a position to commit to this role for the 12 month contract. Dependent on performance, this opportunity could potentially lead to a permanent placement within Louis Vuitton or a LVMH sister brand.
