Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Senior Trainer is responsible for definition and implementation of Benefit local training strategy. He / She works closely with the European Training Manager, the Regional Sales Team and the Retailers Partners to ensure all levels of Benefit Education are successfully executed to achieve Retail sales objectives.

 

  • Design and implement local training programs by adapting corporate training strategy, in line with European & national marketing, sales strategy to ensure excellent customer service and to contribute to market share evolution.
  • Measure impact of training and coaching programs
  • MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
    • Development
    • Develop and plan training in line with the marketing and sales strategy, adapting strategy to retailer specific environment
    • Develop the strategy and training programs by deciding adaptation of training modules being creative in inventing new way for training delivery
    • Design an overall yearly strategic training plan for both Benefit and Retailer staff
    • Work on translation, development, implementation and update of Benefit Central Education training programs & tools to ensure consistency of Benefit's overall education message
    • Produce training module & materials for in-house and in-field training
    • Execution to be adapted locally
    • Deliver induction in classroom - training programs related to DNA, Magic Formula, Product Knowledge, Services allocating team resources appropriately
    • Manage and track budget for training department; optimizing cost and planning
    • Implement individual curriculum program to support and develop Benefit staff (BA, Counter Managers, Brow Bar Managers, Field Supervisors, Sales development Managers)
    • For Retailer staff, liaise with commercial team to offer both an adapted training program as well as on-going novelties training, on field, in classroom, through Inkling
    • Ensure implementation of coaching program working closely with Field Supervisors and commercial management to identify training & coaching needs
    • Work closely with Marketing/Merchandising/Digital Department to build consistent training message
    • Monitor training efficiency by setting up a training/performance tracker for both Benefit and Retailer Staff
    • Build and maintain strong partnership with Retailer training team
    • Prepare and conduct training in store
    • Assist in new store openings where appropriate and deliver key training
    • Follow up
    • Regular connection to field thanks to store visits with commercial team to ensure training & coaching are optimal and to identify future training needs
    • Measure and monitor sell out team performance following training actions
    • Track field training actions from Inkling
    • Be proactive in proposing actions to improve service
    • Ensure Benefit Guidelines are followed on the field
