Develop merchandising program according to Maison guideline and control budget.
Formulate and execute visual merchandising plan to enhance brand image.
Increase the brand presence in all the important outlets through innovative display ideas, active development of POSM and merchandizing materials.
Develop and implement a seasonal and core product mix that is balanced in regard to product details and demographic diversity, while encompassing a sound good/better/best strategy.
Implement planned merchandising activities and projects and ensure the highest possible quality.
Work closely with other departments, distributors to ensure all VM/in-store POP materials orders are placed/received as per the direction and market needs.
Monitor and assist brand team's efforts in the areas of POSM. Assist in the proper execution of any consumer or trade promotional activities in respect of the POSM.
Regularly visit site locations in China to ensure the displays reflect the best brand values.
Ensure that all stores and POS in field implement VM at the highest possible standards in- line with global guidelines and standards.
Conduct market trend analysis and propose actions in merchandising strategies to Head of TM.
Perform market analysis, competitive shop, and analyze historical sales trends to keep abreast of current consumer and market trends.
Identify emerging trends and develop business strategies outlining strengths, missed opportunities, new opportunities and threats.
Lead and manage high performing teams and bench to support organizational growth needs.
Plan and conduct periodic VM training to sales staff to properly display/merchandize our products in the outlets.
Help on TM ad hoc project.
University degree graduate major in Marketing/Business or equivalent, preferably with international luxury brand experience.
Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
Professional experience & know how:
At least 7 - 8 years in marketing and or merchandising experience with an international consumer goods company/ retail industry.
Good understanding of brand marketing and some sales management experience from retail goods/ luxury goods environment of below-the-line and new product launch experience.
Knowledge with imported spirits is preferred.
Excellent understanding of large brand business.
Thorough understanding of FMCG/beverages industry.
Knowledge in luxury brand management.
Strong commercial marketing sense and be insightful on consumer understanding.
