The Asia Financial Controller is the dedicated finance business partner to the Asia Leadership Team (ALT).

Sephora, a division of LVMH - Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton global luxury leader, is a global leader in beauty retailing. We successfully operate more than two thousand points of sale across Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia. Our aim is to animate the most loved beauty community in the world.

Sephora Asia's Omni channel business encompasses 11 markets in the region, with more than 350 retail stores and an integrated online presence. The business is experiencing rapid growth with store openings and expansion into new markets. We currently have close to 6000 employees with cross-regional presence in Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

The Asia Finance Controller will report to the VP Strategy and Business Development, Asia. This is a newly created role and will be an individual contributor, working closely with regional finance peers and ALT.

Key Accountabilities
>  Regular analysis & cross country reviews; produce monthly Asia Black Book which consolidates the Key Business Indicators across the Region
>  Asia consolidation of
o Monthly sales & profit reports
o Budgets (BU / R1 / R2)
o Forecasts
o Strategic plans / 5 year financials
>  Systems and reporting:
o Automate HQ reporting in collaboration with global teams
o Solve for a forecast & consolidation tool for Asia & roll-out to all markets
o Support roll-out of SAP Asia as Finance Subject Matter Expert
>  Controllership
o Challenge & validate financials from Asia markets leading to consolidated review
o Budget manager & in-charge of cost allocations for Asia Management Costs
>  Drive best practice and synergies in finance function across Asia region
>  Support preparation for global management visits / executive presentations
>  Ad-hoc project support


Key Competencies
>  Financial controllership positions; Management reporting
>  Pan-Asia regional experience; Retail industry experience
>  Demonstrated performance in large scale MNC organization with matrix reporting
>  Familiarity with SAP Financials & Syrus is a plus
>  Expert level in Excel; experience with other reporting / consolidation tools (such as Jedox, Anaplan) is welcome

>  Politically savvy, able to build relationships with peers in the region and global leadership, able to influence
>  Executive presence; builds credibility with stakeholders
>  Operates confidently in ambiguity and fast pace / frequent changes
>  Can manage tight deadlines and work under pressure
