Nicholas Kirkwood is seeking a motivated social media executive to develop our social media strategy and play a pivotal role in growing this marketing channel. In this role, you will contribute to both the strategic and creative aspects of social media. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the entire social media landscape - including content creation and optimisation as well as publishing algorithms, building and engaging communities, social listening and reporting, planning and execution of socially-led campaigns.



  • Create, define, execute, and own the social media annual strategy as well as content calendar in line with business goals
  • Develop and implement innovative results-driven growth strategies across all social media channels in order to engage and grow the NK community

Reporting and Insights:

  • Use social analytics tool to monitor metrics relative to set objectives and KPIs and deliver weekly reports on social growth, traffic and engagement


  • Work with the Brand Image team on the entire process of content creation, including concepts for campaigns, photoshoots, budgeting and planning ensuring content created is optimised for platforms and adhering to best practise  
  • Plan logistics around live capture and publishing across multiple platforms, and be able to live publish in a reactive and fast-paced environments


  • Manage the day-today of all NK channels, including posting content, ensuring timely responses, frequently sharing relevant and engagement content, and activating paid promotion where required


  • Write all copy for social media in line with brand tone of voice as well as best practice for social


  • Collaborate with PR team in nurturing and building the NK community as well identifying and managing opportunities for social engagement with different communities, influencers and content creators across the year
  • Ad hoc writing across other digital platforms including mailers and as well as other marketing projects
  • Stay on top of and proactively share upcoming trends in social media and content marketing


  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a digital role within the luxury industry and a passion for social media
  • Excellent English writing skills, with highly developed verbal and visual communication skills
  • Exude passion for all things digital and have a deep immersion in the social landscape, always curious to learn more and stay abreast of emerging technologies and platforms
  • Familiarity with the Chinese social media landscape (WeChat, Weibo, Little Red Book, etc.)
  • Exquisite communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
  • Willingness to go the extra mile - Proactive, self-confident, highly motivated team player
  • Exceptionally organised with an obsessive attention to detail and a track record of operating in a fast-paced environment is essential
