MISSION STATEMENT Overall responsibility for the monthly reconciliation of all contract warehouses as well as all Bailment warehouses in each of the 17 Control States. Overall responsibility for the reconciliation and resolution of all warehouse to SAP inventory differences on a monthly basis.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Manage MHUSA warehouses inventory reconciliation 15% > Ensure that all inventory entries are posted correctly (in and out) > Reconcile monthly warehouse inventory vs. inventory in SAP > Research and resolve all warehouse to SAP reconciling items in a timely manner > Instruct Operations team on inventory adjustments to ensure reconciliation of inventory levels > Verify that adjustments are properly processed. > Assist / organize physical count > Reconcile physical vs. booked inventories > Propose inventory adjustments & write-offs Manage Bailment warehouses inventory reconciliation 30% > Ensure that all inventory entries are posted correctly (in and out) > Reconcile monthly bailment warehouse inventory vs. inventory in SAP > Instruct Operations team on inventory adjustments to ensure reconciliation of inventory levels > Verify that adjustments are properly processed. > Research and resolve assigned warehouse to SAP reconciling items in a timely manner > Reconcile physical vs. booked inventories > Assist / organize physical count > Propose inventory adjustments & write-offs > Develop relationship with bailment State Warehouse management Closing process: 10% > Prepare necessary analysis for controller / auditors including Topaz inventory reconciliation, in-transit accruals, scrapping and free goods details, and Ad Hoc reporting > Responsible for the analysis and booking of current month duties and taxes liabilities and SAP processing Analyses: 20% > Responsible for the understanding and communication of all inventory movements and their associated impacts and variances, as well as the ability to communicate this to management > Responsible for analyzing, preparing and communicating schedules related to inventory and/or duties and taxes as requested from the Maisons, audit team and management Internal control: 5% > Understand internal control policies, and make sure they are followed within department and company > Report to controller any deviance to internal rules Documentation 10% > Ensure that all process' are documented and continually updated System expertise: 10% > Develop understanding of system capabilities around inventory process and develop/automate to create more efficient ways of working with various parties involved in inventory control
Education : Undergraduate degree in Finance & Accounting required; Advance degree preferred Languages : English Professional experience & know how: 5-7 years of inventory management experience. Knowledge of SAP required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access. Strong knowledge of general accounting concepts. Highly organized individual who is able to work with limited direction; must be able to set and adjust priorities independently, High level of attention to detail and accuracy, Solid interpersonal and communication skills and ability to lead team and manage warehouse inventory counts. Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and must be able to adapt to various work styles. Experience working within the beverage alcohol & three -tier system is a plus.
