We are currently looking for a proactive and highly organised Stock Manager for our beautiful Boutique in Bicester Village. The successful candidate will support the store at operational and administrative level, ensuring compliance to best practice in the stock room, at the cash desk, aftercare service and general back of house, as well as between all the stores and concessions.

 


Profile

Main responsibilities: 

Stock Management

  • Processing stock deliveries & manage stock flow between store & warehouse
  • Managing cycle counts
  • Faulty stock (managing best practice / prevention)
  • Organising and optimising stockroom (storage, efficiency, product care etc.)
  • Inventory

Stock Strategy

  • Stock & Sales analysis
  • Stock requests & Missed Opportunities report
  • Reorders
  • Incoming stock update (mapping in calendar planned deliveries, updating relevant departments etc.)
  • Warehouse visits

 CARE

  • Liaising with repairs department / follow up on client updates as needed
  • Maintaining the Repairs Tracker & filing of repair documentation
  • Managing invoices & credit notes relating to repairs

 Administration

  • Managing data population for cash desk reports (Cash Desk Diary, Target Sheet & Monthly Touch Base)
  • Supporting with end of month invoicing / checks / cost estimate tracking
  • Managing receipt checks and audit points
  • Assisting with Procurement (stationery & ad-hoc orders)

Store Operations

  • Directly in charge of the Admin and Cashier Team - ensuring adherence to all cash procedures and policies
  • Supporting with procedures training (staff induction & team refreshers)
  • Adhering to and implement the CD procedures handbook at all times as a guidance and reference
  • Supporting with maintenance / liaise with contractors & site management; deal efficiently with store subcontractors such as dry cleaners and other suppliers
  • In charge of H&S weekly checks and compliance
  • Ensuring H&S policy and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • H&S Induction Training (and team refresher training)
  • 1st Aid & accident reporting

Store Opening & Closing

  • Responsible for opening and closing the store and securing all store assets.
  • Maintaining store security including building security
  • Inspecting the property in the morning / Activate and deactivate the overnight security system

Additional responsibilities

  • Carrying out any additional duties as directed by the Manager.
  • Supporting the Manager with the implementation and compliance of all policies and procedures across the board

  • Previous experience as a Stockroom Manager and in an Admin role is essential 
  • Organised with the highest level of accuracy
