Description:

The Store Planning Intern's main objective is to learn about the department's main functions supporting active store  projects.  There are currently 21 projects scheduled for opening over the next 16 months in the US, Mexico  and Canada.   

 

Tasks & responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Material Library and Archive:

  • Interface with design team and suppliers to maintain  material samples library  and ensure that  design reference archives are up-to-date

 Department communication:

  • Work with project managers and director to receive project updates and send regular reports to the Fendi Corporate team
  • Support store data analysis working with project manager and director
  • Support project manager with new project presentations
  • Create templates for new project presentations

Department organization:

  • Create and maintain physical folders for active projects 

Graphics Coordination:

  • Liaise with local architects and HQ communication department for layouts and production of barricades graphics

Other:

  • Support department with various administrative tasks
  • Create expense reports for director

 Special projects:

  • Complete some minor work  projects involving freestanding furniture and finishes
  • Review design concept archive and update to current standard

Profile

  • Strong interest in design and construction
  • Previous internship or experience in architecture office a plus
  • Team oriented and excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and eager to perfect tasks at hand
  • Good knowledge of CAD, Microsoft package, Photoshop a plus
  • Willingness to learn and to take initiative
  • Strong organization skills
