Louis Vuitton is seeking a temporary Supply Chain Seasonal based in our New York office for approximately eight months, who will support the Supply Chain team on the distribution on new products and the continuous rollout of a new distribution system in our stores. You will collaborate with the Merchandising department to manage the reservation fulfillment of show and popular items by prioritizing stores based on their potential and coordinate with our Distribution Centers to provide visibility of the quantities of new product to be launched. You will also assist with the pullbacks of these collections to optimize sell-through. In addition, you will assist with defining the appropriate stock level and replenishment of new products for our stores while ensuring the correct systems are in place for the best sales performance for each launch and create tools or dashboards for the team to effectively show this information.
As someone who is skilled in problem solving and familiar with systems, you will assist stores in transitioning to a new distribution program by closing out the former system and implementing the new one. You will monitor orders taken during the transition period to ensure there are no issues and that they are being correctly assigned to either the Distribution Center or other stores. Additionally, you will update the current tools and dashboard to reflect the KPI's, identifying any issues or discrepancies in conversion, lead-time to fulfill orders, etc.
We are eager to speak to professionals with a minimum of one to two years' of experience in Supply Chain working with data analysis, preferably with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the Science field. You will have elevated communication and organizational skills, a strong sense of urgency, and drive for results. In addition, you will have excellent Microsoft Excel abilities, problem solving skills, ability to work in a fast paced environment, and be able to work both in a team environment as well as independently. French and/or Spanish language proficiency a plus.
