Supporting the retail fashion brands within the Fashion Group for the UK and Ireland as well as the UK SSC and UK Maison, Nicholas Kirkwood. UK Fashion Group brands include: Celine, Loewe, Kenzo, Pucci, Givenchy, Rimowa and Nicholas Kirkwood.
Purpose of the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an intern to support the provision of all talent acquisition and recruitment for our eclectic portfolio of Fashion and Accessory brands. This role works in close partnership with the HR team to attract, source and screen high potential talent for our brands.
> Source top candidates for our brands by utilizing all relevant sourcing channels (LinkedIn, external & internal job boards, direct headhunting, internal database, WeChat, etc.)
> Edit and adapt job descriptions to fit the needs of the hiring manager and team
> Produce Company and Location target lists to pursue when recruiting for retail-specific talent and visit the market to identify high potentials
> Add new candidates and pipelined potential to the database on a consistent basis while ensuring full compliance with GDPR legislation
> Maintain up to date progress reports on vacancies, sharing the status of each recruitment need with the team on a weekly basis with the support of the team
> Hold initial telephone screening interviews to assess candidate capability and to identify key information e.g. salary, visa restrictions, notice period, etc.
> With the support of the Advisor/ HR Manager, feed key recruitment KPI's into the HR dashboards on a monthly basis
> Track current and expired adverts to ensure vacancies are updated/refreshed where necessary
> Screen all applications that come through internal and external job boards, keeping on top of the candidate flow to the fashion group email box and send key/shortlisted CV's to the team on a daily basis.
> Communicate effectively with the team and particularly the HR Assistant to ensure that any offers and changes are communicated for the purposes of payroll and HR starter processes
> Support with the production of starter documentation with the support of the Advisor and HR Assistant
> Think laterally across the brands to ensure that applications received are considered for other potential vacancies across the Fashion Group.
- Experience of working in an HR/Recruitment function
- Experience of working in retail organizations preferable
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to cope with changing environment
- Able to communicate effectively with all internal & external customers
- Strong organizing and prioritizing skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
