The Human Resources Team Manager serves as a key business partner to the Senior Store Director. The role supports the HR function as it relates to onboarding, recruitment, development and engagement of talent, implementation and administration of human resources programs and employment policies, personnel record-keeping, and compliance with federal/state laws and regulations.
As the HR Manager at our Fifth Avenue Maison in NYC, you will be responsible for the recruitment and on-boarding of talent by managing the full-cycle recruitment for permanent and non-permanent roles, Sourcing and identifying talent and hosting interviews for all candidates to ensure a match for business needs and culture. In partnership with the Retail Learning Manager, you will create bespoke on-boarding plans for all store positions, and work closely with the Store Management and Regional team members to conduct new hire on-boarding and induction. Lastly, proactively you will build a pipeline of candidates in the market for future openings for all areas of the business - including referrals of candidates to other local stores based off organizational and structural fit.
The HR Manager will support Talent Development by identifying key developmental needs and work closely with Store Management, Regional HR and Learning Manager to support and foster talent development and career growth for employees. The HR Manager is responsible for supporting with in retention, identification of talent, succession planning, career discussions with employees and should partner and provide guidance to support peer leadership and Senior Store Director on performance management, productivity touch bases, coaching and corrective actions, including Sales Action Plans (SAPs), Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), etc
