Position
The Technical Lead E-Commerce will be reporting to the eCommerce application manager and be responsible for the development team to ensure the quality of deliverables based on Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Management of the eCommerce development team
- Ensuring constant exchange with the QA team
- Responsible for code review and continuous deployment
- Ensuring the evolvement of the development team to best practices
- Ensuring the CI/CD process and responsibility for release management
- Development of new integrations and features
- Overall responsibility for the continuous improvement of the website performance (webperf, technical debt etc.)
- Steady optimization of the development processes
Profile
- Engineering diploma or equivalent in computer science
- Several years of experience in the field of web development and in particular in eCommerce and software design
- Expertise in Talend ESB/DI, BigQuery datalake solutions and data governance
- Minimum of 5 years experience in developing Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions
- Minimum 5 years of experience on demandware/SFCC, including all web languages XML, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, JSON object definition, Java OOP / Node.JS
- Experience with RESTful web services, AJAX-based client-side applications, including advanced JavaScript architectures
- Strong experience in W3C, MVC, Agile development and tools
- Experience in using Pipelines, site genesis, SFRA and OCAPI, JS controllers, ISML templates and RT web services
- Good knowledge of tools around payment, taxes and OMS integrations
- Understanding of SFCC technical reports and limitations such as quotas
- Mastery of fundamental SFCC concepts with knowledge of Site Genesis, SFRA, Content Assets / Slots and SFCC catalogue
- Very good knowledge of CDs and CIs and associated release management
- General knowledge of Linux server and applications such as Jenkins Automation Server
- Very good knowledge of caching strategies, PWA
- Very good knowledge of GIT code management and build process with Webpack and Jenkins
