As a part of our Logistics team, you would work hand in hand with Logistics Manager to ensure import of all commercial and not sell-able merchandise as well as all transportation operations and reverse logistics.



Expedite custom clearance and ensure trade compliance for imported products for Retail, Wholesale, Press and other merchandise into US and Canada:

  • Ensure correct application of Tariff classifications utilizing Harmonized Tariff Schedule for all imported products
  • Collaborate with Central Logistics teams on availability and accuracy of data necessary for correct application of HTS
  • Process Customs Statements received from Brokers and review and assess accuracy, verify country of origin/export, IOR, terms of sale and value to ensure that federal regulation requirements are achieved
  • Follow-up with the clearance process on all customs entries
  • Provide analytics on applied Freight & Duties Rate by product category and entity, outline any changes and collaborate with Finance & Accounting teams on budget planning
  • Support import compliance issues, CF28, CF29, Quantity Adjustment filings and communications with Customs Brokers and CBP

Optimization of duties applied:

  • Re-think importation flow and investigate on opportunities of minimizing customs duties or administrative cost
  • Investigate all drawback opportunities, initiate drawbacks and collaborate with our legal partners on their progress
  • Collaborate with Retail and E-commerce partners for implementing new flows product flows
  • Ensure follow up and awareness of all changes in custom laws

Ensure Trade Compliance, knowledge of and renewal of all necessary certifications for Logistics Operations:

  • Fish & Wildlife - Certificates/CITES, renewal of license
  • US Dept. of Agriculture - Lacey Act
  • CETA
  • CTPAT Security Profile
  • Food and Drug Administration - Drop Ball Tests, Impact Resistance Form, Homegoods
  • Children's Apparel & Toys - (CPSC) requirements for flammability testing
  • HAZMAT - Perfumes
  • ACE database
  • Stay up-to-date on all customs changes, and maintain up-to-date Customs Compliance Manual



  • 5 years of experience in Customs clearance and Trade Compliance, experience in Fashion apparel is a plus
  • Hold a valid CBL (Customs Broker's License) issued by U.S. Customs and Border Protection is a plus
  • Passionate and curious about Customs optimization and logistics
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft excel and manipulating large sets of data
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to solve problems quickly and utilize appropriate escalation paths when required
  • Strong Sense of customer service
  • Must be reliable and well organized
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and accountability
  • Ability to multi task and find appropriate resolutions to conflicting priorities
