Build advocacy and salience with trade stakeholders and making Belvedere easier to purchase through stand-out activation along the consumer journey -especially during purchase. Translate National brand plans into regional marketing strategies and executions.
Field Marketing Strategy and Programming: (55%)
> Lead the Belvedere promotional planning, development, activation and monitoring of national brand plan strategy as it relates to Regional markets including national sampling, events, merchandising and VAPs.
> Advise brand on regional opportunities; advise Maison and BDD on US market needs.
> Develop local strategies based on National brand plans including quarterly programming.
> Manage POSM creation, setup, execution and maintenance.
> Create and execute VAP strategy and programs leveraging tools from Maison
Bartender and Education: (20%)
> Adapt Maison brand education materials and develop regional training programs, sell sheets and sales presentations
> Develop Cocktail Strategy in alignment with Maison
> Lead strategy and development of Brand Ambassador plans in that result in increased visibility with bartender community and industry
> Create and execute plans that drive distributor, sales and account training and education.
> Lead and execute account targeting, activation plans and execution of distribution, menus and training programs
> Accountable for effective deployment of Mixology Ambassadors, Brand Ambassadors and Portfolio Specialists in partnership with SG
Stakeholder Relationships: (10%)
> Partner with Sales (incl. Distributor & Retail partners), Finance & IT, Legal, & HR to gain input and support for opportunities & priorities required to achieve plans
> Lead Brand Activation Planning process and collaborate with Regional marketing teams to develop plans aligned with brand strategy and growth ambitions
> Consult with Maisons to develop marketing mix materials for US market
> Lead distributor engagement programs to maximize impact of national programming
> Co-manage VIE to execute programming execution and analysis
> Manage SG and MME agency relationships and budget
> Ongoing management of A&P and T&E budgets
> Main liaison with Maison on Retail, Education and On-Premise
Education : Marketing Degree required; MBA preferrred
Languages : English, working knowledge of French a plus
Professional experience & know how :
- 10+ years brand marketing experience in consumer packaged goods or luxury environment.
- Experience working within the beverage alcohol & three -tier system is a plus.
- International experience a plus. Strong leadership and communications skills.
- Experience working in partnership with Sales required.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and must be able to adapt to various work styles.
