Travel Retail Europe & Africa Senior Manager - Perfume
Reporting to our Sales and Marketing Director Export & Travel Retail, you will be responsible for the P&L of the channel, analyzing and recommending appropriate actions at key accounts and key airports levels to maximize profitability according to company long-term objectives.
In this role, you supervise all the aspects linked to the strategic and commercial business development, including sales and marketing, pricing alignment, forecasts, budgets, yearly and long-term planning. You will optimize the budget allocation among key operators, monitoring and defining appropriate expenses breakdown between rentals, beauty consultants and animations, according to identified growth strategy.
You also ensure the correct implementation of lines and product portfolio management according to Travel Retail channel specificities and business unit guidelines. Responsible to manage business relationships through development and nurturing of strong partnership with all key actors (buyers, shop managers, staff agencies, field sales supervisors, beauty consultants), you also lead direct negotiation at retail level for strategic and/or new business implementation as well as commercial conditions with all Travel Retail operators.
In charge of the personalization of the point of sales, you liaise with trade marketing and interior design departments to emphasize products implementation and presentation ensuring perfect visibility. Moreover, you maximize a close collaboration with our trade marketing team and emphasize synergies with our domestic channel to ensure efficiency, impact and superior brand visibility.
In terms of analysis, you proactively monitor order process and related payment, central and local stock issues to ensure appropriate product rotation and availability of ordered elements.
As a manager, you build-up, cultivate and motivate efficient teams at both corporate and field level, by overlooking the hiring process of beauty advisors and negotiating contracts with external agencies.
You have at least 10 years of international sales experience with a strong background within the fragrance or luxury industry. With a Master Degree or equivalent, you have a strong expertise in business strategy, vision and execution (sales, marketing, media, PR and market development) and confirmed skills in negotiations. With extensive knowledge in P&L management and profit optimization, you have proven successful track record in Travel Retail business model management. You have excellent command of IT reporting tools and are fluent in French and English, any other language is an advantage.
