ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting the cash management system infrastructures in the North America Region, core responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance and update of proprietary systems (Sapphire, FX for Houses) in North and Latin America
    • Sapphire (proprietary system based on FIS Trax technology)
      • Lead affiliate projects to implement, upgrade or make changes
      • Update user rights / Mandates / signer profiles / accounts
      • Respond to and resolve daily affiliate questions (rejected payment, add sapphire features, etc.)
      • Support affiliate for new products on platforms (new bank, new country and/or new means of payment)
      • Liaise with the banks
      • Challenge the Maison needs and organize the project timeline / weekly meetings
      • Review the payment file format and support testing
      • Ensuring affiliate review and update all vendor data
    • FX for Houses
      • Support the Maisons joining Worldlink / FX for Houses project (contract signature, KYC, payment testing)
      • Main contact with Citibank/Worldlink in NA and LATAM (weekly calls)
      • Support FX All activity within North America (Sephora Beauty Canada USD/CAD spots purchased through FXALL)
      • Analysis of potential FX related projects and currency needs - ie. FX receivables
  • Other tasks:
    • Participates in project to assimilate newly acquired affiliates into proprietary LVMH systems and structure
    • Support with development of SAP payment files - new accounts and ongoing maintenance of existing files
    • Provide support as needed to monthly treasury reporting and analysis
    • Implementation and execution of special reports to support daily treasury position - ie. intraday reporting
    • One-off Treasury Analysis
    • Participate and support other Treasury technology (Odyssee)

Profile

PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

  • Education: Bachelors degree or the equivalent college degree 
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and proven agility with systems (ERPs)
  • Understanding of basic accounting and of treasury flows
  • Some project management experience
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written - the position requires efficient communication with multiple stakeholders: banks, affiliate, Treasury teams in Headquarters, consultants, etc.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED 

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good understanding of ERPs, at ease with technology. Ability to learn & use various software Experience with Trax is a strong plus
  • Ability to perform with minimum supervision
  • At ease in a fast pace environment
  • Some knowledge of French would be a plus (but is not required)
