POSITION: UK MAKE UP AMBASSADOR
DEPARTMENT: RETAIL & EDUCATION
REPORTS TO: HEAD OF RETAIL AND EDUCATION
Be the official Givenchy makeup spokesperson and the leader of Givenchy makeup community. Develop awareness & expertise of Givenchy make up in the UK. Be the guarantor of the Givenchy Make-up Signature, showcasing this through various platforms, including on the shop floor.
Be a leader of the Givenchy makeup community
Spokesperson and make up expert for PR and Influencer activities
Support the retail team and act as a reference during training sessions throughout the year
Inspire Beauty Consultants, Future Makeup Talent and MUA Retailers through expertise training sessions and masterclasses.
Test products in advance and provide qualitative feedbacks to home market and corporate.
Support local MUA team both in store and virtually
Be a best in class example on social media, with active and engaged accounts on a variety of platforms.
Lead and animate major in-store events nationwide and abroad upon request, supporting new launches and key commercial periods.
Providing high standard of service to customers.
Host events such as Masterclass Expert in key retailers.
Prepare presentations to media tying into key launches and to support key brand messages.
Actively participate in beauty shoots, introducing the brand to key influential figures, building up the Givenchy fan network. BEAUTY SHOOTS - key is to have access to celebs and build up our givenchy fan network
Conduct make overs for press at various locations.
Particpate in press meetings with the PR team, being able to provide credible soundbites, quotes and make up artist credits.
Participate in high profile events as part of a collaboration i.e. London Fashion Week, Elle Style awards.
Provide credible quotes for press and launches.
Build relationship with freelancer Make Up Artists, including attending meetings with PR team to present newness
Digital / Social Media
Manage actively your professional Givenchy social account with community of followers, with the HQ and PR support and monitoring.
Create content by following guidelines from the HQ team and to a locally agreed schedule.
Be the reference on all e-retail "prise de parole" masterclass, lives etc.
Join the "European Couture Pro" Team
Participate in the EURAF/International make-up events, seminars, conventions.
Receive specific education program in Expertise & Digital
Develop and maintain strategic and meaningful relationships internally and externally; with the HQ team and across all retailers, both within store and at head office level to secure Givenchy support.
- Fluent in English.
- 5+ years' experience in UK market with a cosmetics brand. At least 2 years of shop floor experience.
- Has a creative portfolio of work, across a number of different areas (i.e. bridal, creative, commercial etc).
- Active social media platform, with good levels of engagement. (At least 1000 followers).
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Confident computer skills including a strong working knowledge of PowerPoint
- Personal affinity with Givenchy.
- Good understanding of and appreciation for the luxury goods industry.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
- Previous media experience an advantage.
