Job Title: Distribution Planning Project Manager (VIE)
Perimeter: USA & Canada
Reports to: Supply Chain Director

In close collaboration with Central Supply Chain and Regional Merchandising team, your mission is to improve stock availability and optimize inventory levels through enriching current distribution planning process. In addition to project management, you will be able to ensure operational implementation of recommended processes through day-to-day demand and distribution planning for Men's categories.


Roles and Responsibilities

1. Review Process for Distribution Planning for Seasonal Products:
- Explore and document current process for seasonal process across all categories for initial allocations at launch and replenishment process
- Analyze areas of opportunity for optimization and propose recommendation
- Liaise with central supply chain to integrate WW best practices
- Formalize targeted process and implement for all categories

2. Improve current process for Distribution Planning of Permanent Products:
- Analyze Stock Distribution and provide recommendations on areas of risk and opportunities by cluster
- Focus on Stock Outs and set up a process for shortage management (Network optimization/rebalancing)
- Set Up a process for rebalancing of permanent products via local warehouse
- Set Up a process for stock optimization for end of life products
- Liaise with central supply chain to set up a local process for stock targets review and replenishment process

3. Project lead on Supply Chain Process for Wholesale clients:
- Enabling replenishment process for Bergdorf Goodman on Handbags stock
- Analyze and map current physical, financial and information flows between all stakeholders involved in delivering wholesale clients
- Provide recommendations for improving current flows and current processes

4. Project lead on Supply Chain Processes for Latin America
- Liaise with central supply chain and regional merchandising team in transferring all supply chain process from Europe to Americas zone

5. Ensure Operational demand and distribution planning for Men's categories (RTW, Leather goods and accessories) in collaboration with Merchandising team:

- Monthly Review of forecast in Anaplan forecasting tool
- Provide recommendations for seasonal products distribution (initial allocations and replenishment)
- Analyze and improve permanent products stock distribution by store by providing recommendations on distribution parameters (assortment/stock targets) and stock rebalancing

 


Profile

Skills and Competencies:


Education & professional qualifications

  • Relevant degree - preferably bachelor's degree in Supply Chain / Industrial Management / Operational Research
  • 1-3 years' experience in Supply Chain, luxury industry is a plus
  • Understanding Demand and Distribution Planning principles
  • Strong Analytical skills and ability to provide recommendations
  • Ability to operate and structure large amount of data, very strong knowledge of Excel is required
  • Ability to work with databases, SQL is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to understand all stakeholders' priorities and context, adapt communication to the counterpart
