Position

General Purpose of the Position: 

Responsible for executing Loro Piana's visual merchandising guidelines to the Wholesale markets of all RTW and accessory collections . The East Coast Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for building collaborative relationships with all members of the Wholesale teams as well as supporting the facilitation of product knowledge and visual excellence for (5) Wholesale locations: Saks 5th Avenue (NY), Neiman Marcus (Boston, Tyson's Corner, D.C.) and Richards.  As a brand ambassador, the role embodies the Loro Piana spirit by expressing the brand's history, culture and values through the visual merchandising lens.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Loro Piana brand image is accurately and consistently maintained by working liaising with the VM department to implement Visual Merchandising guidelines and uphold the overall brand experience
  • Collaborate with the line manager, Wholesale Managers and DSAs on all Wholesale installations and visit feedback
  • Responsible for working with Wholesale Account and business partners to achieve net sales and protect the brand image
  • Implementation of the Loro Piana Visual Guidelines for the following areas: in-store-merchandising and mannequin styling
  • Installing Wholesale caravans and trunk shows in line with North America guidelines
  • Partner with Wholesale team on showroom installations as needed
  • Consistently represent and understand the Loro Piana values and communicate them to all store teams
  • Maintain and communicate a thorough understanding of all relevant company, brand and product information.
  • Ability to travel to all necessary store locations

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Creative experience: styling, merchandising, and / or art background
  • Customer Service focused with excellent communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications

Education and Experience Required:

  • Management experience
  • Luxury exprience preferred
  • Exposure to both wholesale accounts and specialty stores
  • Travel up to 25%-30%
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and passport
