The Visual Merchandiser- PARFUMS GIVENCHY is responsible to support the important and growing Asia Pacific Travel Retail business strategically and operationally in the area of soft Visual Merchandising for counters. He or She is responsible for the visual merchandising of TR Asia Pacific and support each area: 

  • Ensure and control the brand image of PARFUMS GIVENCHY in TR APAC for counters
  • Provide TR AP VM guidelines across axes to execute visual merchandising strategy in each POS
  • Source visual merchandising props, coordinate with vendors on production, and manage cost within budget & time.
  • Coordinate with contractors for new development projects and liaise with each region Field Supervisor for execution follow-up
  • Update of the different POSM elements based on novelties and counter specificities



Upscale the image of PARFUMS GIVENCHY in TR Asia Pacific

  • Upscale the image of PARFUMS GIVENCHY in a cost efficient manner
  • Harmonize brand image from one store to another for more consistency across markets
  • Identify specific needs from TR AP markets, and liaise with HQ to follow-up and assist in the development
  • Conduct merchandising checklist during market visits and systematically remind delegates on the importance of these guidelines, and train merchandising delegates notably during market visit
  • Liaise with the TR Asia Architects during new counter projects to integrate VM strategic guidelines into permanent counters design.
  • Work on a VM training module for BC and retail managers to train the field teams to the importance of good VM maintenance

Regional guidelines to execute Visual merchandising strategy in each POS:

  • Update the merchandising bible monthly including:
    1. Planogram guidelines
    2. Visual display guidelines (lightboxes and videos)
    3. Top 30 doors guidelines
  • Support POSM forecast for permanent counters in line with budget communicated by commercial team.
  • Work with suppliers and liaise with FS to follow up counter condition and organize maintenance intervention when necessary

Ensure in store execution

  • Liaise with AM teams for in store installation for new counters and major updates
  • Be the main contact of the AM and contractors for in store installation, especially for HK and Macau markets

Market watch & Team support

  • Survey competitors' activity and report key innovations
  • Participate to the design and organization of special regional events and meetings
  • To work with Asia Marketing and TR WW on the good realization and execution of events such as Tax Free Singapore / BA Seminar/ Retailer Week




  • Over 5 years in visual merchandising (preferably in high end / luxury retail environment)
  • University graduate
  • Complete fluency in Chinese (Cantonese + Mandarin) and English
  • Excellent Command of Photoshop & hands on experience with computer illustration
  • Good interpersonal, communication with team and management in multicultural environment
  • Good co-ordination and strategic planning skills
  • Lots of creativity, dynamism and initiatives and ability to understand the brand DNA
  • Excellent time, organizational and project management skills: proven ability to prioritize, work to a punch list and hit aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Experience with working with contractors: manage budget, negotiation and in situ installation within time and budget
  • Willing to travel frequently in the region (China, Korea, South East Asia, Japan mainly) and flexible on schedule for in store installation
