YOUR MISSION ____________

The Visual Merchandising Executive guarantees accurate and qualitative brand image according to company guidelines through all point of sales of the Middle East, Levant, India and Africa region, and ensures the integrity of all the institutional brand requirements.

Reporting to the Architect Manager, the Visual Merchandising Executive contributes to the development of the Dior market shares and sales in the region through the creation, design and build of counters in lines with the brand strategies across the 3 axes:

  • Ensure clear definition of merchandising projects scopes and ensures that all projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard.
  • Follow and implement brand seasonal VM guidelines.
  • Support new market and store opening.
  • Work with local suppliers ahead of installations to ensure accurate application of designs, technical specifications and highest possible quality production. Once installations are complete, review the quality and processes giving feedback to suppliers as necessary.
  • Ensures the projects are effectively resourced and communication and workflows efficiently executed through headquarters merchandising direction, regional sales & marketing teams, external consultants & contractors as well as agents and subsidiaries.
  • Ensure that all display activity is effectively communicated to Sales team and Beauty Consultants (merchandising action plan), and supervise all counters on overall image, display, tidiness and cleanliness.
  • Coach and build strong relations with Sales Executives/ VM Ambassador and Senior Sales Executives, so that they can help maintain presentations.
  • Monitor promotion/window setup, display and dismantle if necessary.

 

YOUR MAIN RESPONSABILITIES ____________

Design

  • Produce a creative point of sale design in accordance with the merchandising charter in order to optimize brand visibility.
  • Be responsible for the designs and scale models of any new counter build. These to be validated by Central Merchandising.

Bidding

  • Provide project plans, technical specifications and designs to obtain costings.
  • Challenge and negotiate the terms and conditions to ensure brand image is not compromised as well as budget and deadlines compliance.

Manufacturing

  • Work with local suppliers ahead of installations to ensure accurate application of designs, technical specifications and highest possible quality production. Once installations are complete, review the quality and processes giving feedback to suppliers as necessary.

Installation

  • Ensure through sites supervision and updates the successful implementation of ongoing projects, consistent with details and high standards of Dior.

Follow Up

  • Visit Stores and counters regularly before and after new builds to review and propose additional branding or visibility opportunities and ensure the merchandising display is proper and according to the merchandising guidelines.
  • Follow up on the result of modification/maintenance works which might have impact to VM policies/guideline.
