Position

JOB PURPOSE

To lead the Supply Chain and Logistics organization in Americas (US, Canada and LATAM) with the objective to optimize sales and stock coverage in a context of rapid growth and expansion.

The Vice President will need to work closely with Merchants, HQ Supply Chain and Logistics, Finance, Retail Performance, Retail Head and Zone Managing Director.


Profile

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organization
    • Review the need and to propose proper organization structure and workflow in order to meet the company objective & growth;
    • Define short-term and mid-term strategy for the Supply Chain and Logistics organization, including teams, systems and partners; taking into account all channels (Retail, Wholesale, E-commerce).
  • Manage and develop the replenishment strategy for all categories
    • Optimize distribution of products;
      • Manage the assortment with Merchants;
      • Optimize stock level in stores to minimize left over inventory and stock out;
    • Drive the rebalancing process to enhance profitability and reactivity
      • Define the rebalancing calendar and frequency;
      • Organize the Regional Rebalancing for the different categories;
      • Monitor the efficiency for all transfer/rebalancing;
    • In charge of defining the omnichannel distribution strategy.
  • Demand planning
    • Lead the forecast and reorder process for permanent styles with Merchants and Retail Performance;
    • Liaise with Sales budget and global stock equation;
    • In charge of the local OTB process with Merchants and Zone management.
  • In charge of all logistics operations for the zone
    • Manage performance of freight forwarders in collaboration with HQ team
    • Develop and provide logistics performance KPIs and visibility tools
    • In charge of ensuring imports compliance (Relation with customs, Fish & Wildlife, Carnet ATA etc.).
    • Oversee the 3PL in charge of E-commerce activity, define KPIs, drive optimization projects and ensure capacity is aligned with the rapid growth of the activity.
  • Collection launches and events
    • Plan the availability of merchandise for boutique openings and special events, by liaising with regional merchandizers, central Supply Chain and Logistics;
    • Plan collection launches, in relation with other departments.
  • Communications
    • Work with different departments such as Merchandising / Finance / Regions / Paris Supply Chain to ensure smooth operations in Supply Chain and Logistics.
  • KPIs
    • Establish & define KPI's for replenishment, demand planning and logistics and share with the other departments;
    • Drive and make recommendations and changes for improvement to meet defined KPIs.

Additional information

REQUIREMENTS

  • 7-10 years' experience in Supply Chain and Logistics, with Distribution Planning or Forecast Planning, experience
  • Good comprehension of overall Supply Chain organization, from forecasting up to physical distribution
  • Experience of Consumer goods distribution in an international environment; Retail Experience is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work across functional areas and levels of organization
  • Capacity to manage work under pressure
  • Analytical capabilities and agility
  • Must be able to travel to the New Jersey Office in East Brunswick at least 1 day a week
