Warehouse Operation Intern

As a Warehouse Operation Intern, you will support the Warehouse Manager to drive continuous process improvement activities on warehouse operations, space optimization and storage requirement for long term planning.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support productivity saving project implementation / sourcing of suppliers
• Generate ideas and initiatives for process improvement
• Performance analysis
  • Compute data to monitor current performance: create, update, improve KPI
    reporting
  • Create visualizations and dashboards to help the management interpret data and make decisions
  • Act as liaison between customer service and operations team
  • Be proactive in implementing creative solutions
• Initiate continuous improvement actions
  
  • Conduct root cause analysis of service issues and propose solutions to improve overall customer experience
  • Lead analysis (both data and field-driven) and propose solutions to improve
    the key objectives: productivity, service, quality, cost, lead-time
• Initiate and be involved in global continuous improvement actions 
  • Warehouse Management System improvements
  • Global program of lead-time reduction
  • Global program of efficiency improvement (5S, lean management)

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering

Skills:

• Quantitative analytical skills and computer savvy
  
  • Strong in data crunching and analytical capabilities
  • Basic knowledge in lean management, six sigma, 5S, WMS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  
  • Able to work across functional areas / levels of the organization and to interact at distance
